Lara Foy

Lara Foy comes to us from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College at Berkeley, California .  She studied medical qi gong at the International Institute for Medical Qi Gong, as well as Swedish Massage at Twin Lakes College.  She has worked in collaboration with UC Berkeley's athletic acupuncture program and has studied and practiced scalp acupuncture for paralysis.  She is a nine year Reiki II initiate and healing song practitioner.  Lara approaches the healing arts in a multi-disciplinary fashion, bridging western science, psychology, and spirituality.  She has also worked extensively in elementary education, anthropology, performance arts, and indigenous rights.  Lara speaks Spanish, French and Nepali, and is excited to be here at MCA!

Dr. Christopher Hollis

Dr. Christopher Hollis is the founder of Montpelier Community Acupuncture. He is a Naturopathic Physician and licensed acupuncturist with a primary care practice in Randolph, VT (integrativehealthvt.com).  After studying psychophysiology at Penn State University, Dr. Hollis earned a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Oriental Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon, a six year, nationally accredited medical school.  He has been practicing medicine since 2005.  His main modalities are herbal medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy and nutrition.  In addition to his private practice, he is on staff at Gifford Medical Center.  He has studied medicine in India and China, and lectures internationally.  He sees private patients in Randolph and Montpelier and accepts most insurances for Naturopathic Services.
